I’m not dead

February 26, 2012

I’m just knocked down after the grand party yesterday. I’ve no idea how many liters of coffee and kilograms of cake we managed to stuff ourselves with, I just know it was far too much. Yes, if you’re as old as me, you can totally get exhausted after a coffee-cake-and-chitchat-party. Don’t laugh too loud, kids, you’ll get here too eventually.

So I’ll just give you some quick links to three things I thought funny.

Sweet schadenfreude: Unberarable twit and pompous propagandist Richard Dawkins gets to eat humble pie on British radio. (Huffington Post, in English)

Whoever loses, I win: Universal Music Germany and Sony Music Germany are now complaining that GEMA haven’t come to an agreement with Youtube over the rights to stream music. They both claim to be losing money over GEMA‘s restrictive interpretation of internet copyright. (Spiegel, in German)

What the *** were they thinking?: Gothenburg international airport was shut down for over four hours today, because airport employees “saw something suspicious” when x-raying a piece of luggage. Honestly, don’t they have a better response to that than “A bomb! PANIC! Everybody get out of here! AAAAH!” (Göteborgs-Posten, in Swedish)
